“Eiger Dreaming”
A slideshow presented by Jason Beaupre and Frank Tkac on their two very different summits of the Eiger in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. At 13,025 ft the Eiger is not known for its height but
rather for its level of difficulty and reputation as the Mordwand or murder wall.
Frank Tkac climbed the mountain via the north face route in six days while Jason Beaupre did a traverse of the whole mountain via the Mittellegi Ridge and the South Ridge in a continual push of seventeen hours and forty minutes. Come hear Jason and Frank compare and contrast their two summits of the Eiger.
